Nelda Barnes Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 4, 2025, at the age of 95, Nelda Barnes (Omaha, Arkansas), born in Lead Hill, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jarrett Bell and Elsie Bell (Harwell); and her husband Reverend Jack Barnes. She is survived by: her son John Mark Barnes of Harrison; her granddaughters, Taesha Bliss (David Bliss) of Harrison and Callie Barnes; her great grandchildren, Jace and Camden of Western Grove; and her brothers, Neil of Harrison and Welden Bell of Harrison.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the New Hope Baptist Church (7441 AR-14, Omaha, AR 72662). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Arkansas Baptist Boys Ranch, 5742 Boys Ranch Dr N, Harrison, AR 72601.
