With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Spires (Oppelo, Arkansas), born in Springfield, Arkansas, who passed away on January 6, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Theo Spires and Emma Willis Spires; his daughter Tina Zachary; his granddaughter Jessica Young; and his brother David Spires.

He is survived by : his wife Alice Spires of Adona; his daughter Tracy Hubbard (Lydell) of Casa; his grandchildren, Grant, Garrett Young, Gerian Andrews and Matthew Zachary; his great great grandchild Greyson Andrews; his aunt Thelma Dickson of Morrilton; and his sister-in-law Kathleen Jackson of Conway. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
