He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Robert "Baldy" Morphis, Henrietta Parkman Morphis, Dale Pettingill and Mary Eva Pettingill. He is survived by: his parents, William Robert "Bobby" Morphis, Jr. (Melissa) of Marion and Linda Sue Pettingill Coward; his son Paxton Dale Morphis; his father-in-law Mike McGhee of Oppelo; his siblings, Melissa Bickford (Todd) of Hope Mills, Kelly Ratcliff (John) of New Boston, Robbie Hodges of Clarksville, Rhett Morphis (Sammi) of Manila and Rachel Morphis; his nieces and nephews, Hannah White (Calder), Carlee Ratcliff, Ethan Morphis, Gabrielle Hodges, Jordan Hodges, Jayce Hodges, RJ Morphis, Fowler Morphis and Jewels Morphis; and his aunt Robbie Jo Morphis.
In lieu of flowers, the family has set up an account at Petit Jean State Bank to support Paxton's education, honoring his father's memory.
