She was predeceased by : her parents, Arlie Sims and Virginia H. Sims; her husband James Elbert Manuel; her son-in-law Charles Bonee; and her brothers, Jerry Shockley and Jimmy Shockley (Tina).

She is survived by : her children, James Allen Manuel (Karen), Billy Wayne Manuel (Kristy), Bobby Lane Manuel (Teresa), Sandra Jean Bonee and Ramona Lynn Herron; her grandchildren, Charles, April (Dakota), Michelle, Bobby Jr., Clay, Dustin (Kristina), Whitney (JT), Justin (Larissa), Josh (Sarah), Brandon, Kailey, Austin (Briley), Steven (Melissa) and Amber (Michael); and her sisters, Connie Carter (David), Margaret Leggett and Sue Manuel. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
