She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamen Hampton and Izora Brook Hampton; her husband Odell Shields; her son Odell Shields Jr.; and her siblings, Benjamen Hampton Jr., Oscar D. Hampton, Henry Hampton, Herman Hampton and Vannie Hampton.
She is survived by: her children, Ricky Shields of Denver, CO, Atlanta Gulledge of Denver, CO, Gloria Rogers of Blytheville, AR and Judy McGinster of West Memphis, AR. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
