It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmie Lee Whitaker of Osceola, Arkansas, who passed away on November 3, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Jimmie shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Jimmie farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy Leslie Whitaker and Ruby Lee Whaley Whitaker; and his brother Charles Whitaker. He is survived by: his wife Becky Whitaker; his children, James Whitaker (Rebekah) of Humboldt and LeeAnn Whitaker Brown (Edward) of Jonesboro; his grandchildren, Destiny Brown and Daniel Whitaker; his sister Mary Ann Marsden (Joe) of Paragould; and his sister-in-law Gwen Whitaker of Caraway. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the First Baptist Church (2900 W Keiser Ave, Osceola, AR 72370). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Mississippi County Memorial Gardens (2173 US-61, Osceola, AR 72370).
