He was predeceased by : his parents, James Martin and Virgie Beatrice Chapman Cook; and his siblings, David Wayne Cook, Leroy Cook, Charles "Dobber" Cook, Robert "Popeye" Cook, Paul Howard Cook, Cheryl Shepperson, Jo Marie Watson, Maggie Helen Russ, Georgie Beatrice Dalton, Gail Cook and Suzie Cox.

He is survived by : his brother Jimmy Cook (Dorothy) of Osceola. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
