Laverne Mashburn Obituary
Laverne Mashburn, 81, of Osceola, passed away on November 8, 2025 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was born on July 21, 1944 in Dyess, Arkansas to Mack Mashburn and Lovolla Griffin Mashburn. Laverne was a Christian and was of the Pentecostal faith. She enjoyed cooking, playing cards and fishing. Laverne loved when she got to watch her grandchildren. All above she loved getting to spend time with her family.
Survivors include; her sons: Bobby Rollins, of Osceola, Arkansas and Rickey Rollins (Audrey) of Greenville, Tennessee; nine grandchildren; several great- grandchildren; host of other family and friends.
Laverne is preceded in death by; her parents: Mack Mashburn and Lavolla Griffin Mashburn; sons: Russell Rollins and Teddy Rollins; brothers: Bud Mashburn, Eddie Mashburn, and Darrell Mashburn.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Faith Funeral Service with Pastor Sean Dudley officiating. The family will receive visitors at Faith Funeral Service on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Mississippi County Memorial Gardens under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
