He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas and Edna Thomas; his wife Addie Mae Thomas; his daughter Tammy Gail Kennemore; his sisters, Bobbie Jo Franklin, Betty Parnell and Carolyn Thomas; and his sister-in-law Beverly Thomas.

He is survived by: his grandson Matt Driver (Whitney); his great grandchildren, Ian, Scarlett and Lucas Driver; his brothers, Arlan Thomas (Erma) and Jimmy Thomas; his niece Rita "Katie" Tomaszewicz; and his son-in-law Jimbo Kennemore. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
