She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Gregory and Beatrice Gregory (Zimmerman); her husband Karl Bretthauer; her daughter Pamela Hunt; and her siblings, Frank P. Gregory and Madeline Snipes.

She is survived by: her children, David Stanley of Oxford, Greg Stanley of Florida and Treva Rush of Melbourne, Arkansas..
