He is survived by: his mother Ruby Dell Nichols; his stepfather James Peters; his close friend Rhonda Regan; his daughter Delana Thornton; his grandson Darren Wayne Thornton; his stepson Dylan Regan; and his siblings, Jayne Williams, Tootie Matsler, Debbie Nichols and Ricky Bearden.
