He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Erwin "Buster" and Velma Ruth Bevil; his wife Patricia Rue Bevil of Ozark; his children, Tracey Lynn (Paul Kendrick) of Altus, Todd Bevil of Ozark and Michael (Zulphia Trotter) of Spring; his sisters, Pat Hill of Ozark and Nina Banks of Fort Smith; his grandchildren, Alyssa Ann (Jason Brown) of Ozark, Kolden Louis Kendrick of Altus and Jordan Bevil of Fayetteville; his great grandchildren, Kinzie Lynn, Kalie Jo, Kain Louis Lindsey of Ozark, Kylie Marie and Khole Jane Hankins of Pottsville; and his stepgreat-grandsons, Jason Odell Brown of Van Buren and Jackson Kole Brown of Ozark. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, 504 West Commercial in Ozark.
