He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Arthur and Una Juanita Powell Brooks; his siblings, Craig, Darrell Brooks and Sandra Jo Stiles; his son-in-law John McQuaide; his nephew Brent Brooks; and his great-niece Kerstin Gilbreth.
He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Brooks; his children, Eric Aubry of California, Todd Aubry (Heidi) of Ohio, Jodi Martinez (Rick) of Ozark and Tika McQuaide of Ozark; his sister Sharla Holtz (Dave) of Ozark; his sister-in-law Donna Brooks of Alma, Arkansas; and his son-in-law Rob Smith of Ozark. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
