He was predeceased by: his parents, James Claud and Vernia Doss; his siblings, Calvin, Otis Doss and Ethel Aitchison (Doss); his in-laws, Clarence and Lucille Simpson; and his siblings-in-law, Glenn Simpson, Don Holmes, Linda M. Doss and Wilma Simpson.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Sue Doss (Simpson) of Ozark, AR; his siblings, Dena Holmes of Ozark and Curtis Doss of Springdale, AR.; his children, Dianna Bowman (Rickey) of Ozark, James Doss (Robyn) of Mabelvale and Annecia Fort (Brian) of Alma; his grandchildren, Amanda Newberry (Jody), Lindsey Holt (Jared), Michael Bowman (Amanda), Colton Doss, Alaina Tatum (Michael), Alivia Williams (Dustin) and Noah Doss; his great grandchildren, Shaylea, Trevor and Cooper Newberry; and his grandchildren, Kylynn, Kinsley, Kaydence, Kamdyn Holt, Addilynn, Lilly Kate and Boston Bowman. He is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in James's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
