Myrtle Williamson Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Myrtle Williamson of Ozark, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 11, 2025 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Myrtle Williamson to pay them a last tribute.

Though Myrtle may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Myrtle touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Awalt and Helen Decker; her husband Charles Williamson; her children, Jimmy Dean Williamson and Marilyn Cemital; her grandson William Charles Williamson; and her great grandchild Dorothy Woods.

She is survived by: her children, James Duvall (Melanie) of Atkins, Carolyn Fredy (Rick) of Atkins, Christine Brown (Paul) of Ozark and Mary Bobo (Curtis) of Atkins. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 10 great great-grandchildren, along with a host of extended family.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the North New Hope Cemetery (15145 AR-333, Dover, AR 72837).
