With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Ples Bushmiaer of Ozark, Arkansas, who passed away on May 30, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bushmiaer and Carrie Spradley Bushmiaer; and his grandson George Oliver Bushmiaer. He is survived by: his wife Susan Riddell Bushmiaer; his daughters, Jennifer Fox (Jimmy) of Canton and Ashley Davis (Todd) of Ozark, Arkansas; his stepson Richard Bushmiaer Jr. (Betsy) of Springdale, Arkansas; his brother Robert Bushmiaer (Margo); his grandchildren, Sara Elizabeth Aguilar, Bailey Burnside, Miller Burnside and Ben Bushmiaer; and his great grandchild Hudson Burnside.
A memorial service was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (503 W Commercial St, Ozark, AR 72949).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Heart of Hospice, 1001 Towson Avenue Fort Smith, Arkansas 72901.
