We announce the death of Carla Marlene Thompson of Paragould, Arkansas, born in Burton, Michigan, who passed away on September 29, 2026, at the age of 70. Carla will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Moore and Willie Moore; her former husband Guy Thompson; her sister Barb Lewis; and her niece Lisa Moore.
She is survived by: her husband Teddy Joe Vines; her children, Jason Thompson (Amanda) of Glasgow, KY, Rhonda Schank (Karl) of Paragould and Tiffany Carson (Josh) of Paragould; her siblings, Gary Moore (Jan) of Burton, MI and Marsha Morris of Paragould; her brother-in-law Malcolm Lewis of Paragould; her grandchildren, Layla, Jillian Thompson, Lacie Seaverson (Andy Nance) and Tory Jenkins; her great grandchildren, Bryden Seaverson, Ella Seaverson and Nova Nance; and her nieces and nephews, Brad Moore (Gabby), Linda Wallace (John) and Melonie Lewis.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Phillips Funeral Home (4904 W Kingshighway, Paragould, AR 72450). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
