Carolyn Faye Cooper Obituary
Carolyn Faye Cooper, 66, of Paragould, Arkansas passed away surrounded by her family at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital on September 10, 2022. She was born on June 29, 1956 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to Bob and Doris Davis Massingale. Carolyn was a member of the Greater Vision church in Paragould, Arkansas for many years. She enjoyed coloring, being on Facebook, listening to gospel music, spending time with her family but especially her grandchildren.
She fought a courageous fight for three months from Ovarian cancer. She is SO loved and she will be missed every day. She never met a stranger. She loved to talk. This world was a better place with her in it.
Survivors include; husband of 22 years: Elvis Cooper of the home; three daughters: Vicki Hayes (Paul) of Paragould, Arkansas, Mindy Galczynski (Scott) of Paragould, Arkansas, and Jessica Carroll of Paragould, Arkansas; three sisters: Pat Akes of Paragould, Arkansas, Barbara Mattix (John) of Bono, Arkansas, and Lisa Moore of Paragould, Arkansas; eight grandchildren: Candice Gilmore (Casey), Cheyene Moore, Victoria Hayes, Jacob Hayes, Brylee Carroll, Katherine Galczynski, Cooper Hayes and Austin March; one great grandson: Dominick March; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
Carolyn is preceded in death by; parents: Bob and Doris Davis Massingale; one daughter: Nikki March; one grandchild: Adison Carroll; one brother: Jerry Edgar; and three sisters: Bernice Armstrong, Donna Treat, and Kathy Grimes.
Pallbearers: Claude Cook, Dennis Dunn, Adam Followell, Sammy Leisure, George Cook, Braxton Dunn, Taylor Hinojosa, and Jared Pulver.
Honorary pallbearers are her grandsons that she loved greatly.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 16, 2022 at Greater Vision Church in Paragould, Arkansas at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Rick Etheridge and Bro. Justin Etheridge officiating. The family will receive visitors at the church from 12:00 p.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Pine Log Cemetery in Brookland, Arkansas.
