He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Jim Cupp and Juanita Cooley Cupp; his spouse Meryl Hodge of Paragould; his children, Stuart Cupp (Julie Mitchell) of Overland Park, JoAnn Shea of Phoenix and Jill Bay (Mike) of Fayetteville; his grandchildren, Matthew Mitchell-Cupp (Autumn) of Golden, Colorado, Andra Cupp of Overland Park, Alison Shea (Kevin Ware) of Denver, Emma Shea of Denver, Maisie Bay of Fayetteville and Halsey Bay of Kentucky; his great grandchild Tommy Mitchell-Cupp of Golden; and his siblings, Patsy Biermann of Fayetteville, Larry Cupp (Kathy) of Paragould and Mary Beth Chipman of Paragould.

A memorial service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church of Paragould (404 W Main St, Paragould, AR 72450).
