It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Devon Young (Paragould, Arkansas), who passed away on August 10, 2025, at the age of 30, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Devon Young to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Dean O'Neal Young and Jack Lynn Gassaway; and his cousin Jackson Sheppard. He is survived by: his parents, Richie Young and Melody Gassaway Young; his sister Molly; his brother-in-law Kacey Johns of Sherwood; his grandmothers, Laura Young and Jo Ann Gassaway; and his godson Logan Simek. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins; and countless friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Agape House of Paragould in Devon's memory, reflecting his selfless nature and dedication to helping others and the pride he felt for his Aunt Sunny's work.
