It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dewayne Allen of Paragould, Arkansas, born in Pollard, Arkansas, who passed away on November 15, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fred Allen and Thelma Mae Allen (Toombs); his wife Mary Ann; his sons, Jay (Lesle) of Jonesboro and John of Paragould; his grandchildren, Jessica Allert (Drew), Daniel, Grace, Anna Joy, Mary Leigh, John, Jr. and Jaxon Allen; and his siblings, Charles Allen of Paragould and Maggie Camden of Pekin, Illinois..

“Mary Ann, Jay, and John, Please accept my most heartfelt sympathies for your loss. I recall you, Mary Ann & Dewayne came to my wedding with baby John in your arms. I remember babysitting Jay and after 3 failed attempts to make fried eggs like he wanted them, I gave up. And, I recall my time in your English classes, Mary Ann, devouring everything I could. I didn't know Dewayne well, but I know he was treasured by each of you. May your memories with him bring joy in your grief. Blessings!”
