He was predeceased by : his parents, Earl Orick (Arks) and Beatrice Eubanks Orick; his wife Terry Kay Orick; his siblings, Eunice Kersey (Orville), Herman Orick (Nell), Grace Dellerman (Joe), Fred Orick (Mary), Laura Roberts (Grady), Jan Carson (Lamar) and Gertie Fay Orick; his nephews, Gary Don Kersey and Wes Orick; and his niece Belinda Orick Burns.

He is survived by : his daughter Shelly Tarry (Craig); his grandchildren, Jessica Redden (Stephen) and Jacob Tarry (Elizabeth); his great grandchildren, Camille Joiner, Beckett, Carver, Webb Redden and Georgia Tarry; his nephews, Steve Orick, Ron Orick, Scott Roberts, Kelly Dellerman and Cody Orick; his niece Madelyn Orick; his brother Lemuel E. Orick; and his close friend Danny Ryan (Leon Adams).

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Warren's Chapel United Methodist Church (696 AR-168, Paragould, AR 72450). A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Warren's Chapel Cemetery (696 AR-168, Paragould, AR 72450).
