She was predeceased by: her parents, Argene Phipps and Dorothy Smith Phipps; and her siblings, Jerry Phipps, Michael Phipps and Brenda Edmiston.
She is survived by: her son Brian Carter of Youngstown, Ohio; her grandson Kristopher Carter of Greenbrier, Arkansas; and her siblings, Betty Rodgers of Jonesboro, Paula Kirby (Keith) of Kennett, Kathy Phipps of Walnut Ridge and Ronnie Phipps (Margaraet) of Paragould. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
