He was predeceased by : his parents, Charley Sheppard and Nellie Sheppard; his wife Joy E. Cooper Sheppard; his parents-in-law, H. W. Pete and Hilda Cooper; his brother Charles Sheppard; and his brothers-in-law, Toy Cooper and Wayne Wilder.
He is survived by : his son David A. Sheppard of Paragould; his daughter Cheryl K. Sheppard (Terry Bishop) of Westchester IL and his siblings-in-law, Marcella Cooper of Paragould, Shirley Cooper Wilder of Willow Springs, Illinois, James Cooper of Knob and Dale Cooper of Ozark, Illinois..
