He was predeceased by : his parents, Horac Bennett and Vaudie Bennett; his son Christopher Main; and his sisters, Judy Boyd and Carol Miller.

He is survived by : his wife Elgina Bennett; his children, Josh Bennett (Beth) and Sarah Griffin; his sister Sarah Soares (Stan); and his grandchildren, Morgan Flemming, Chris Main, Bo Main, Ashton Caviness, Whitney Caviness, Taylor Farris, Jon Griffin and Emily Griffin. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and at 2:00 PM at the Phillips Funeral Home (4904 W Kingshighway, Paragould, AR 72450). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
