Harvey D. Burlison Obituary
Harvey D. Burlison, 72, of Paragould, Arkansas passed away at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center on October 4, 2023. He was born on December 19, 1950 in Trumann, Arkansas to Chester Burlison and Clarice Holmes Burlison. He was of the Baptist Faith.
Harvey was a devoted husband and friend to his wife for over 30 years, Violet, until her death in 2019. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, and cousin. He was an accomplished musician and country music singer. He liked to sing and play the guitar and to get together with his music playing buddies. He enjoyed riding and training horses and going on trail rides.
Survivors include; nieces and nephews: Shirley Barrett (Jimmy) of Brookland, Arkansas, April Burlison of Brookland, Arkansas, Sherry Hester (Scott) of Rector, Arkansas, Trevor Burlison of Brookland, Arkansas, and Clint Burlson of Paragould, Arkansas; many great nieces and nephews; many great-great nieces and nephews; cousins; neighbors; and a host of other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by; his wife: Violet (Roush) Burlison; parents: Chester and Clarice Burlison; three brothers: Hilton Burlison, Wayne Burlison, Deloy Burlison; one sister: Lois Burlison; and one niece: Carol Burlison.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Pine Log Cemetery in Brookland, Arkansas with Charles Richardson officiating.
