It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hunter Thomas Jr. of Paragould, Arkansas, who passed away on December 24, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hunter Thomas, Sr. and Gloria Johnson Thomas; his sibling Carroll Gilbert; and his son Jeffrey Allred. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Thomas; his sons, Hunter L. Thomas (Chris), Alan Allred, Jr. (Nacole), Eric Allred (Anna) and Matthew Bennett; his daughter-in-law Marisol Allred; and his siblings, Willie Jean Hampton, May Miles, Rosie Thomas, Shelly Thomas and Lisa Dale Thomas. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
