He was predeceased by: his parents, Lois Hamilton and Dovie Holifield Hamilton; his brother Kenneth Hamilton; and his sisters-in-law, Shirley Hamilton and Jean Hamilton.

He is survived by: his son Nathan Hamilton (Christa); his granddaughter Ashlyn Hamilton; and his brothers, Jim Hamilton (Judy) of Paragould and Jerry Hamilton of Paragould.
