He is survived by: his wife Alline Thomason; his children, Melvin Thomason (Susan) of Finch and Patricia Hampton (Gary) of Salem, Illinois; his grandsons, Bryan Hampton of Salem, Paul Hampton of Grand Junction, Cory Thomason of Finch, Warren Osborne (Michelle) of Middletown and Darrel Osborne (Nellie) of Virginia Beach, Virginia; his great grandchildren, Liam, Xenia, Xaiden, Rosalind and Katerina; and his sisters, Ann Nicosia of Louisiana and Bonnie Scott of Paragould.
