He is survived by: his wife Martha Jean White Swindle; his daughter Gena Swindle James (Chris); his grandchildren, Ryan James and Cate James; and his nieces and nephews, Pam Cheeks, Linda Gardner, Ronda Swindle, David Swindle, Edwin Swindle, Jerry Swindle, Steve Swindle and Nadine Peek. He is also survived by cousins, other relatives, and special friends.

Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church in Paragould in honor of Fred Swindle.
