He was predeceased by: his parents, James Luther and Cora Gramling Shipman; and his siblings, Sybil of Deronda, J. M., Lucille, Lee, Mary, Nadine, Fanny and Betty Lou.
He is survived by: his wife Emma Shipman of Warren's Chapel Methodist Church; his children, David Shipman (Germelyn) and Lou Shipman Gregery (James); his grandchildren, DJ Shipman (Leah), Geoffrey Eubanks (Megan), Jordan Shipman (Tyler Smith), Tiffany Curtis (Ryan), Jacob Textor-Shipman (Hailee), Taylor Shipman, Mikko Landicho and Ansei Landicho; his great grandchildren, Layne, Luke, Leo Mack, Jacob, Drake, Miles, Zaiden, Tucker, Max, Nevaeh and Watson; and his siblings, Jerry Shipman (Linda) and Patricia Lenderman (Jerry). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces; and many, many friends.
