He was predeceased by: his parents, Rupert Blount and Vivian Blount. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Blount; his children, Jerry Wayne Blount, Jr. (Wisper), Jason Hampton (Jamie), Heather Lewallen (Joey) and Cynthia Hampton; his siblings, Doyle Blount (Vicky) and Linda Wellman (Mike); and his grandchildren, Gabe, Lincoln, Atticus Lewallen, Jayse Hogan, Gabby, Brooksie Blount and River Hampton.
