She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Glisson and Evelyn Glisson; her husband Sammy Steve Thomas; her children, Joyce Brewer and Robin Lynn Thomas; her son-in-law Roger Eason; and her grandchildren, John Fredrick Leach and Shelly Ann Leach.
She is survived by: her children, John Thomas (Shirley), Freddie Thomas (Jackie) and Evelyn Eason. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and thirteen great-great-grandchildren.
