We are sad to announce that on September 27, 2025, at the age of 78, Joe Lynn Vangilder in Paragould, Arkansas, born in Marmaduke, Arkansas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joe Lynn Vangilder to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Vangilder and Lillian Drope Vangilder; and his siblings, Donna Jean, Charles and Jerry Vangilder.
He is survived by: his wife Carol S. Vangilder; his children, David Landis (Ruth Ann), Lisa May (Anthony) and Lynn Michele Tedder (Kevin); his grandchildren, Carolann, Joseph, Faith Landis, Nathan Joseph and Abigail Lacey May; and his brother Amos Dwight Vangilder (family: Alan Vangilder). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mitchell Funeral Home (1520 US 49, Paragould, AR 72450). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Children's Home of Paragould.
