He was predeceased by : his parents, Rudy Phillips and Norma Phillips; his wife Vera Phillips; his siblings, Suvda Thomas, Vernon Phillips, Jay Phillips and Herbert Phillips; and his great grandchild Luke Kellums.

He is survived by : his children, Kale (Melissa Phillips), Greg (Kay Phillips), Kathy Carr and Kim (David Kellums); his grandchildren, Lacey Sain, Amber McClain, Brandon Carr, Blake Phillips, Drew Kellums, Dustin Kellums and Kasey Kellums; his great grandchildren, Caitlin McClain, Conner McClain, Kynzley Sain, Tanner Carr, Kalyana Sain, Khloe Phillips, Tegan Carr, Karsyn Phillips, Ben Kellums and Kate Kellums; and his great great grandchild Maebry Sample.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 4th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Phillips Funeral Home (4904 W Kingshighway, Paragould, AR 72450). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
