John William Cook Obituary

John William Cook, 67, of Paragould, Arkansas passed away on September 27, 2025 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital. He was born on June 2, 1958 in Sycamore, Illinois to James Cook and Wilda Mae (Beason) Cook. John was an Atlanta Braves Fan. He loved watching NASCAR racing and was a Jeff Gordon fan. He enjoyed watching wrestling, long haul truck driving, and fishing.

Survivors include; one daughter: Jessica Cook of Elizabeth City, North Carolina; three brothers: Jimmy Cook (Roberta) of Shelbyville, Illinois, Ricky Cook of Paragould, Arkansas, Stoney Cook of Paragould, Arkansas; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by; his parents: James Cook and Wilda Mae (Beason) Cook; wife: Joyce Cook; one daughter: Jennifer Cook; two sisters: Star Elaine Cook and Vicki Wilcoxen; and two brothers: Wayne Cook and Randall Johnson.

The family has requested private arrangements under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
