He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Melson and Clomy Melson; and his son Kaleo Melson. He is survived by: his sons, Jokkob and Kalani Melson; and his siblings, Herbill, Houston, Carl, Luke Melson, Mitchiko Melson and Jauje Labuon. He is also survived by extended family that includes 25 nieces and nephews.
