He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe "Ed" Powers and Minnie Powers; his former wife Oneda Mae Powers (Adams); and his stepchildren, David Cornwell Jr., Judy Hammett (Ronnie) of Brookland and Sheila Blain (Donnie) of Jonesboro.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Robertson; and his children, Allen Powers (Sharon), Garry Powers (Shirley), Gerald "Jerry" (Pia), David Powers (Judy), John Powers and Linda Harris (Marty) of Walnut Ridge. He is also survived by 1 great-grandchildren.
