The memory of Josita Reed (Paragould, Arkansas), who passed away on July 21, 2025 at the age of 70, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Laws and Lana Dixon Laws; her granddaughter Caleigh Forkum; and her stepdaughter Marylyn Evans. She is survived by: her husband Ervin Reed; and her siblings, Wesley (Mary Ann), Jimmy (Peggy), Lonnie (Linda), Eddie, Berneal Laws, Judy Laws, Glenda Wallace (Dick) and Tracey Pitcher.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Heath Funeral Home (321 W Garland St, Paragould, AR 72450). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Old Bethel Cemetery.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital and Le Bonheur, two organizations that reflect Josita's compassion and commitment to the well-being of children.
