We announce the death of Kay Herrod of Paragould, Arkansas, who passed away on September 21, 2026, at the age of 80. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Bateman and Juanita Bateman; her brother Jim Bateman; and her sons, Mike Herrod and Charles David Herrod.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Herrod; her daughter Natalie Herrod (Stefan Pototschnik); her grandsons, Alex, Griffin and Charlie Pototschnik; and her siblings, Jerry Bateman (Brenda), Rick Bateman (Leann), Tim Bateman (Jill), Connie Mullikin (Dale) and Janet Hampton (Danny). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Book Hotel Greene County Memorial Gardens (2901 AR-135, Paragould, AR 72450).
