He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Cleat, Loetta Kersey, Raymond and Verna Shreeves; his niece Cadyne Kersey; his cousin Ray Shreeves; his uncles, Fred Shreeves and Rick Shreeves; and his aunt Midge Goad.
He is survived by: his parents, Jerry Kersey and Shirley Kersey; his wife Roshel Kersey; his stepdaughters, Aaliyah and Iyanla; and his brother Jerry Lee Kersey (Kimberly). He is also survived by many cousins, aunts, and uncles.
