The family announces the passing of Lavada Marie Montgomery of Paragould, Arkansas on October 3, 2026. She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Montgomery; her parents, Benjamin Gonser and Lillian Gonser; her daughter Marie Faulkner; and her siblings, Ervie, Arvel, Milen of James, J. W., Oneil, Odell, Eddie, Dwight, Carolyn Vaughn, Ina Gonser and Juanita Wright.
She is survived by: her son Jerry Montgomery. She is also survived by one other son; eight grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; as well as countless cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the New Friendship Cemetery (3486 Greene 514 County, Paragould, AR 72450).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of choice in Lavada's name, reflecting her spirit of giving and compassion.
