She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Sanders and Eula Sanders; her husband Johnny Gates; and her siblings, David Sanders and Mary Esther Shubert.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Peyton (Danny) of Paragould, Pat Powers of Cardwell, Teresa Clark (Rick) of Paragould, Mary Young (Joe) of Paragould and Janet Stallings (Monty) of Paragould; and her sister Bonnie Long of Colorado. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
