She was predeceased by: her husband J. W. Arnold; and her parents, Edith Eubanks and Jimmie Eubanks. She is survived by: her daughter Dr. Angela Howell (Norman Wright); her grandsons, Justin Howell (Amanda) and Dylan Howell (Hallie); her great grandchildren, Silas, Jack, Violet and Piper Howell; and her sisters, Jane Allison (Dale) and Dianne Watson (Larry). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and a host of cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Heath Funeral Home (321 W Garland St, Paragould, AR 72450). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Greene County Memorial Gardens (2901 AR-135, Paragould, AR 72450).
In honor of Linda's passion for education and her deep love for Greene County, memorial contributions may be made to the Greene County Library, Children's Homes, Greene County Museum, Crowley's Ridge Academy, or Crowley's Ridge College.
