She was predeceased by: her father J. G. Shannon; and her brother Jerry Shannon. She is survived by: her children, Joe Taylor, Melinda Grooms, Mary Taylor, Cindy Taylor and Charles Taylor; her mother Pauline Shannon; and her sister Paulette Young (Wayne).
