Linda Kay Woods Obituary

Linda Kay Woods, 74, of Paragould, Arkansas passed away on April 23, 2026 at her home. She was born on August 30, 1951 in Trumann, Arkansas to Paul Wesley and Imogene (Rainwater) Jordan.

Linda was the matriarch of her family. A steady source of love, strength, and guidance to all who knew her. Her greatest joy in life was her family, and she devoted herself fully to them in every way. Her home was always filled with warmth, comfort, and open doors. She created a space where memories were made, laughter was shared, and love was never in short supply. Her presence brought people together, and her legacy will live on through the family she cherished so deeply.

Survivors include; one daughter: Angela Walker of Paragould, Arkansas; one sister: Robin Patterson of Paragould, Arkansas; one grandchild: Stephanie Woods of Paragould, Arkansas; three great grandchildren: Mattie Forbs of Paragould, Arkansas, Aiden Poteet of Paragould, Arkansas, Nicholas Poteet of Paragould, Arkansas; and a host of other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by; her mother: Imogene (Rainwater) Boren; maternal grandparents: Garland and Edith Rainwater; one son: Farron Austin; and four brothers: Danny Jordan, Gary Garland Jordan, Wesley Stephen Jordan, and Michael Lynn Jordan.

The family has requested private arrangements under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
