It is with sadness that the passing of Ozella D. Harris (Paragould, Arkansas) is shared. Ozella, born on June 19, 1940 in Beech Grove, Arkansas, passed away on October 10, 2026. Ozella will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Ozella by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Ozella is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Ozella’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Edward Harris (JE); and her siblings, Arvil Medsker (Chuck), Berley Medsker (Boots), Lester Medsker (Red), Lonie Wilson, Leo Medsker and Robert Medsker (Rod).
She is survived by: her children, Sheila Faulkner (Jody) of Paragould, Marty Harris (Shelley) of Paragould, Todd Harris (Vanessa) of Paragould and Tony Harris (Brandi) of Paragould; Major Medsker of Jacksonville. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandsons.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Phillips Funeral Home (4904 W Kingshighway, Paragould, AR 72450). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
