Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Paul Smith (Paragould, Arkansas), born in Knobel, Arkansas, who passed away at the age of 85, on December 7, 2025. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Paul may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Hendrix Smith; his son Greg; his daughter-in-law Gayle; his brother Buddy Smith; his grandson Matthew Hall; and his great grandchildren, Bentley and CJ Hall.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Heath Funeral Home (321 W Garland St, Paragould, AR 72450). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Providence Cemetery (105-47 Greene Rd 410, Marmaduke, AR 72443).
