She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Glen Cook, Sr. and Juanita DeBow Cook; her husband Joe Wayne Linam; and her sister Ruth DuBus (Cook). She is survived by : her children, Jason Linam (Tina) and Melissa Thompson (Aaron); her brother Charles G. Cook (Vicki); her grandchildren, Shelby Linam, Molly Linam, Halli Thompson, Emmi Thompson and Aaden Thompson; and her great grandchild Vivian Linam.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 8th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mitchell Funeral Home (1520 US 49, Paragould, AR 72450). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, May 9th 2024 at the Linwood Cemetery (1260 W Kingshighway, Paragould, AR 72450).

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Harvest Baptist Church, 4100 Linwood Drive, Paragould, AR 72450.
