He was predeceased by: his parents, James Louis Wilson and Norma June Thatcher Wilson. He is survived by: his daughter Whitney Ann Wilson of Monticello; his siblings, Danny Wilson (Ravy) of Lubbock and Norma Sharlene Nutley (Charlie) of Elk City; and his nieces and nephews, Mattie Bryant, Maire-Christine Wilson, Danny Matthew Wilson, Jr. and Jim Nutley.
